I moved to Australia from the UK and thought I would be able to work for Government/Defence as I had worked in the MoD for the last 23 years. I was shocked to find that only Australian citizens could apply. I find it hard to believe that the Government would not want knowledge and experience from other countries/government workers (particularly commonwealth).
