It all starts with a unifying Mission, Vision, Purpose & Values. I took government sales from $4M to $22M in 12 months for the NSW DMT in 1987, improved morale, improved customer satisfaction, improved image, secured free advertising and 0% credit card merchant fees, and much more - but my business model was thrown in the bin by self-promoting peers, subordinates and superiors with personal agenda.
By the way, the "permanent" 0% merchant fee contract SHOULD be still in place, but Public servants have buried this because they haven't enforced it. This alone has cost people billions and lined pockets of banks since 1990! No one cares because leaders don't care.
